Caring for a public place abandoned in the courtyard of the National Theatre of Tirana, a small building turned into a meeting place during the days of the Tirana International Film Festival. This was the leading idea for Oda, the transformation of a public place to present the the Albania 1e1000 magazine. “I can not be unhappy” is the paradoxical motto of Alberto Savinio which, translated into Albanian and installed on the roof under the title of “Oda”, summed up the ambivalent situation of a decaying building in the context of the Film Festival, offering the chance to be a set for new coming events. Pictures between Italy and Albania on the windows showed the Albania1e1000 bulding process. The monitors in the windows have shown two videos: “Italian and Albanian stories and memories” and “Sound routes between the two sides” told, through testimonies and music, the threads that bind Italy and Albania togheter.
